Sakurai Co., Ltd. (Head office: Taito-ku, Tokyo, President: Masaru Mishima), a member of the Nippon Paper Group Inc., has released the unique software “STAFile Report,”as of October 1. This product has been developed to support creation and management of reports for the grant program “Agricultural Land, Water and Environmental Preservation and Improvement Measures” introduced in fiscal 2007 by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF).

In receiving the support from this grant project, groups are required to submit reports detailing such matters as the status of activities being implemented, photographic evidence, and records accounting for how the grant money is used. STAFile Report is documentation software for creating specific and comprehensible reports efficiently. Based on the concept “everything begins with the daily work report,” STAFile Report users can produce the necessary documents simply by inputting the status of daily activities, shortening the report preparation time from approximately one week to one day. Potential users of STAFile Report are the roughly 17,000 organizations nationwide that have already started preservation and improvement activities this fiscal year along with the more groups that are expected to follow suit.
