Nippon Paper Group, Inc.'s Dividend Distribution Policy

  Our basic dividend distribution policy is to continue to distribute a constant dividend by ensuring the sound operation of the Group as a whole and the future improvement in equity value for our shareholders. This will be accomplished by constantly reviewing overall business results and maintaining sufficient reserves.

Dividend Payout Period

  • Year-end dividend:
In accordance with the resolution passed at the general meeting of shareholders, we will distribute the year-end dividend amount to shareholders or pledgees registered or recorded on the shareholders list or to fractional shareholders who are registered or recorded on the fractional shares list as of March 31. ( Distribution is expected around the end of June.)
  • Interim dividend:
In accordance with the resolution of the Board of Director's meeting, we will distribute the interim dividend amount to shareholders or pledgees registered or recorded on the shareholders list or to fractional shareholders who are registered or recorded on the fractional shares list as of September 30. ( Distribution is expected around the beginning of December.)

How to Receive a Dividend

  • Receipt through Bank Transfer Please fill in the form "Dividend Transfer Designation Request" that is provided at certain financial institutions or Chuo Mitsui Trust and Banking Company, Limited and put your seal on it.

  • Receipt through Postal Transfer If you do not specify the bank transfer, we will send you a "Postal Transfer Payment Remittance Note," which you can redeem at your nearest post office. In case you have missed the payment receipt period due described on the "Postal Transfer Payment Remittance Note" or you have lost the "Postal Transfer Payment Remittance Note"
