The company's Beijing Office forms the sales base of the Group for Northern China, and is currently focusing on sales activities with a view to promoting the Nippon Paper brand in China.
In November last year, the office decided to present elementary schools in the city of Beijing with 22,000 sheets of woodfree paper for use in drawing and handicraft classes. The quality of the paper was perfect, but it could not be sold because of its damaged wrapping.

Among these schools, Daizhuangke Elementary School is in the Yanqing district, located approximately 60 kilometers from the center of the city. It is said to be the poorest neighborhood in the city. Thanks to financial assistance of some 150,000 yuan provided by the Coca-Cola Group, this school was established as a part of the Hope Project by the Chinese government.
We had the paper delivered free of charge by Uni Sky Express Service Co., Ltd., a local subsidiary of Nippon Express. At the school, the teachers and students were very pleased and they immediately set about drawing pictures.
