The staff of Shiraoi Mill of Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. have participated in the cleanup campaign near Shiraoi Harbor in June each year. In the beach cleanup campaign, which started in 1994, about 70 people including executives of the Mill, employees of affiliated companies and retirees take part, to carefully pick up PET bottles and empty cans discarded on the beach, as well as drift wood and other garbage. →Go Back to Major Activities
