Crecia's Tokyo and Kyoto Mills welcome students from local elementary schools
on hands-on learning tours as part of their social studies throughout the year.
Household paper products, including tissue paper and toilet rolls, are made using
imported pulp. For children who have just started to learn about Japan's economy
in their social studies classes, the household paper products are ideal teaching
materials because the students can actually see, hear and experience how the products
they use every day are manufactured. Every time children have a tour, they pose
many interesting questions. Crecia's household paper products are well-known under
such brands as Kleenex and Scottie. At the end of the tour, the children are presented
with a souvenir of a box of tissues and leave the facilities with smiles on their
faces.
