Matte Inkjet Postcard

-Matte inkjet printing postcards-
Inkjet printing postcards, which have recently gained popularity for use in Japanese New Year's cards, were developed by Nippon Paper Industries. Such cards are unique for their double-sided printing requirements, as they consist of an address side and a message side. In response, Nippon Paper Industries has combined the expertise it has accumulated in both standard printing paper and inkjet printing paper to develop products that meet these market needs.

-On-demand printing-
On-demand printing systems (both LBP and inkjet) possess such unique features as the ability to print directly from a computer,
nonreliance on printing plates, and variable printability. As such, it presents much greater potential than even offset printing in the development of new printing fields and expansion in small-lot printing.

-Weatherproof on-demand printing paper-
As one of the products in its on-demand printing paper lineup, Nippon Paper Industries is developing a version of its water-resistant Oper® product that is compatible with color LBP. Leveraging the unique properties of Oper®, which is a paper and resin composite, we have created a product that has both fine on-demand printability and weatherability (water resistance), which we will be promoting in the market for on-demand printed price cards, outdoor posters, and book covers.
