Mat Vector® System
MAT Vector® System Material Release

  The MAT Vector® System will be released under the MAT Vector Distribution Agreement.
For copies, please send your application.
  We have developed several new kinds of MAT vectors: (a) Standard Type Vectors and (b) Two-Component Type Vectors for practical applications. The other two kinds of binary vectors are: (c) Control Vectors and (d) Excision Monitor Type Vectors that was developed to check culture conditions.

Standard Type Vectors
These vectors are prepared for the practical use that have the multi cloning site for your target gene next to the removal cassette.

Two Component Type Vectors
These vectors are custom-made. The pTL7 has the multi cloning site and Sse 8387 I site between RB and LB will be distributed with the ‘hit & run’ cassette. Please place your target gene at the MCS and insert the ‘hit & run’ cassette at the Sse 8387 I site. 

Control Vectors
These vectors are prepared as control vectors to achieve following objectives 1) to find it possible to distinguish transgenic plants from escape (non-transgenic plants) visually. 2) to evaluate the promoter for ipt gene in point of the formation of ESPs. pROL20 is also as a control for rol type MAT vector to verify hairy root formation.

Excision Monitor Type Vectors
pEXM vector series are constructed for the excision monitor. Since these vectors have the removal cassette between the promoter and the reporter gene, the gene introduction is detected in the cells that occurred the removal events. These are useful to monitor the timing and the location in tissues.
