Located in Fuji City—better known as the city of paper—at the northeastern base of Mt. Fuji, Nippon Daishowa Paperboard Yoshinaga began operations in 1927. The company, which produces linerboard and corrugated medium made from massive volumes of wastepaper and the rich groundwater from Mt. Fuji, is synonymous with paperboard, for which it has earned an enviable reputation. In addition, wastepaper processing technology developed from paperboard manufacturing has been introduced to our paper business, enabling us to produce high-quality printing paper consisting mainly of used paper. Our incinerator facility is also noteworthy, as a biomass power generator that makes efficient use of resources by using waste materials generated from the mill as fuel. The Mill is thus recognized as an environmentally-friendly recycling mill that produces high-quality products.
