The Nakoso Mill was built in 1969
as a specialized production base for carbonless paper. It is now
a key production site for business communication paper, boasting
large-scale operations that include the manufacture of thermal paper,
paper for ink-jet printer. In the age of advanced information technology,
the role of the Mill is becoming even more crucial as a hub for
high quality communication paper suitable for sophisticated communication
devices.With the Nakoso Coast to the east and the Iwaki Mountains
to the west, the Nakoso Mill stands in close proximity to vast amounts
of water, and is so conveniently located that transportation of
its products to the greater Tokyo usually takes less than two hours.
