The location of the Iwanuma Mill is about 20km
south of Sendai in a key area for transportation at the junction of National Route
4 and Route 6 and also the merging of the Tohoku Main Line and Joban Line railways.It
is also located close to Sendai Port and Shiogama Port, which are essential industrial
belts in the Tohoku region, and also enjoys a location that is easily accessible
from Sendai Airport. In addition to such favorable geographical conditions, the
mill has developed benefiting from the abundant water resources of Abukuma River.
Iwanuma Mill, which was created as a state-of-the-art mill bringing together the
most advanced technologies, has a site area of 578,800m2and this vast space allows
the ideal layout for its integrated paper and pulp production facilities.
Iwanuma Mill is constantly seeking harmony with the earth's environment and a
