Iwakuni Mill began operations in 1996 as the core factory for western Japan. Its range focuses on quality household paper products such as facial and bathroom tissue. Using state-of-the-art paper machines, it has succeeded in combining efficient high technology with energy savings. Located along the Seto Inland Sea, the Mill is committed to protecting the local environment. With an environmental management system in place, the Mill uses co-generation to save energy, and also employs advanced drainage treatment technologies like high-speed condensation/precipitation, as well as biological membrane treatment.
